Lily's World XD ending: how to reach it

The immediate progression question first, then a short, non-speculative explanation of the closing beat. Nothing here claims to know how the full game resolves.

Quick answer: uncover the Radiant Path lead, return to Iris and mention Radiant Path when she asks why Lily moved away, then play the conversation through. The story then stops, deliberately.

The last Iris sequence is not a guessing game. The topic has to come out of the investigation first, so if it never shows up, go back to the desktop files, the chat history and the Radiant Path material before trying her again.

What actually happens at the end

The story builds towards the question of Lily's disappearance and a request for help. Shortly after that last beat, the game shows its end-of-demo message and tells you the story continues later. That is the end of the playable demo, not a hidden second ending you failed to find.

Do not read the cut-off as confirmation of how Lily's story is resolved in the full release. This site documents the demo route and says plainly where the verified information stops.

Still no new dialogue?

  1. Confirm you actually found the Radiant Path lead — it comes from the desktop material, not from Iris.
  2. Return to the Iris conversation and look for the topic option before picking anything else.
  3. Make sure the walkthrough you are following matches your build: demo-era saves and the release build are not automatically interchangeable.

A June 2026 demo hotfix addressed an ending-trigger issue, but that does not mean every progression problem shares the same cause. If you are blocked, report your build and the exact step on the contact page.

Checked against the demo build (live since June 2026), a player-written Steam guide and long-form playthroughs. lily's world XD released on 17 September 2026, so anything the full release changed is outside what we can honestly document here.
